About DJP Photography

As you view Dave's images, you will see his “specialty” has been photographing people from all walks of life. Referring to his primary work as “People Photography” seems to be a near perfect fit with almost all of his images. Within this area, he has encompassed assignments in commercial, advertising, publicity, portraiture, and weddings.

David is presently living in the Nashville, Tennessee area. He's continued his photography career moving from the years of working with film to the technology of the digital/computer generated images. It's been a thrilling experience for him, working with all the options that are now available to further enhance his services.

The studio in Hollywood, California allowed him to work with: corporate executives, entertainers, sports heroes, religious personalities, music artists, and many more. You may even recognize a few of the celebrities he's photographed as you go through his images.

His assignments have taken him throughout the Americas, Canada, and Europe. Many of these commercial photographs have been used in publications, brochures, advertising, book and magazine covers, DVD jackets, album covers, feature editorial stories, posters, and television.

While in the military, he was assigned to being a still photographer photographing many diverse classified and non-classified assignments. This was also his first introduction to the teaching aspect within the many areas of photography.

As an instructor, he's taught a variety of photography courses at two colleges in Los Angeles, the New England School of Photography in Boston, Nashville State Community College in Nashville, and a web based course that reached students around the globe.
